That guy above did it right but there is no point to it if your not gonna trim both plactic bumper and metal quarter where the original mounting tab was. He really didnt do anything by what he did.

there is no need to trim that metal bracket, simply take a mallet to it and bend it up, just cut the plastic piece that will still be sticking out

yeah that would work, but it would entirely depend on the fitment.

You don't want to zip tie the bumper......

Proper way would be to just simply relocate the bolt 2 inches back.... bend back the metal and trim off the plastic on the bumper like showed and the old hole where the bolt used to go.

This all depends on wheels size, offset, width and tire size...... If you are not running an aggressive setup then there is no point in doing this.

I'm running 17x9.5 +38 on 265's all around...... Rear I did a roll, relocated the bumper tab and then still smashed in all the metal underneath to clear everything.... Camber is unknown but I speculate that its about -3.5 to -4. I added rear SPC camber ball joints and played with it a bit till I was able to tuck perfect... Now I just need a real alignment to get it all within spec.

I haven't seen any pics of the way I do it yet. I'll try to get one. I don't cut any metal, only the the bumper slightly
