u gotta, having a fender liner is 100000x more important to damaging fender than rolling it.

if u dont have fender the edge grabs tire=bad
if u roll fender and remove=same thing

fender liner causes the tire not to get a grip on the fender

in the fronts, roll them and then push the tabs up.. itl still rub but wont ruin fender.

you only need to roll the rears, the fronts might hit but it wont hurt anything just the sound of rubber on rubber. far better than modding it and having the sound of metal on rubber..or even worse the sound of ur fender against ground as it pulls the fender off from the blunt force and throws it on the ground.

i honestly dont know what ur running that requires such work and determination.. i can get a 10" to fit in front and a 12" rear w/ minor rolling. its more about the angle in which they hit, instead of getting them not to hit.
would you still use the clips that keep the metal and plastic fender together Riley?

Now i removed the 3 clips on 10, 12 and 2 o'clock and pushed the metal tab up... but I don't like the view of the plastic fender hanging a little under the metal fender... (only 2mm but still)...

Xclusive, What made you want to roll your fenders? It looks like you have enough clearance.

That because I raised my coilovers after I ripped out my passenger side fender. When I put my winter wheels back on i'll drop it lower again, its just that the SP1's are too wide in the front for a low drop and a steep driveway. Here was the aftermath ...

For track junkies like me it's more an issue of being able to fit big sticky tires (say 255s) up front. I have heard of 275s fitting in the back with no rubbing, so that shouldn't be an issue with the right offset.

Wheel width isn't the biggest factor. The deciding factor is the tire width. Wheel's don't rub fenders, tires do. The appropriate tire size for a 10inch wide wheel is around 285+. Is that what you were running? The wheels width/offset and tire size are the determining factors. Not to mention a 8.5 width wheel with 255+ tires will give better performance benefits than a 10" wheel with 235's. Just food for thought.
