I say paint it black it will look great and it will be easier to sell if you decide to sell it down the line. Also Silverstone is a PAIN to match
So is Rio...

I'd be willing to bet Rio is the hardest color to paint . Even OEM lips dont match exactly on Rio.

both look good but if you paint it the same color as the car remove the black tape from around the front window.

man it's a hard decision and in pictures black is what i prefer. But in real life is the berlina black shinier than silverstone? I don't know how to explain it, but silverstone doesn't reflect much when its clean and black, i would think, would. What do you guys think? Thanks for the pictures too Drew, and everyone else.

Hey Mike, I already started a thread a few weeks ago asking the same question. I'm painting mine solid, no faux window for me.

And this Sexy Beast if you want black top!
Hey send me some pictures when yours is painted, i'm kind of wondering how that would look with all yellow. I'm thinking that painting it all one color would look sick

Rio sucks to paint... It's off, but hardly noticable only in certain light. My mugen hardtop is going to be black carbon fiber!!!

I think I will go black when I get a hardtop. It flows better IMO.

I had thought about that too. I was even considering painting it flat black or lower gloss, I think it was to do with looking at the Softtop (flat black).

I am quite happy with the look now that its all said and done . Maybe if the paint gets messed up at one point I will remove the tape and paint the roof and the strip where the tape is flat black
