i painted mine black, and no prepping on mine. just taped around the hub and sprayed.

yes they are, i had a local powdercoating shop do them in sebring silver. i'm going to have them re-done since my gf put a scratch on a couple. got new SSR stickers for them too.

and for the OP, paint it black. unless you're going to repaint them with your next set of wheels.

black seems to be the safe bet. it might be too difficult to find a gray spray paint that will match the wheels in different light situations since the finish of the rims is different than a coat of simple spray paint. i'm being dam picky but i know it will nag the crap outta me if center color looks slightly off from the rest of the wheel everytime i look at my rims.

i sold it actually! it was awsome! but wayyyyyyyyyyy to low in the middle for daily driving... on bumps in the road it would scrape
you can get it at speedtech in calgary... if u want one let me know
