Default Pic Request: SSR Type-C RS 17"

I'm really close to pulling the trigger on a set of these from tirerack but I have multiple pictures of different sizings of width and offset and there are many different subtel differences on how concave the rims spokes looks. And personally I think it makes a lot of difference in looks.

Being mainstream now and stocked at tirerack I'm somewhat sure someone has these on the s2000... but I've searched in vain for any pictures. I'd venture to say even that no pictures exist of the new solid antracite colored 17" SSR Type-C RS on the forum.

DOES ANYONE HAVE THESE?! please post for the benefit of all of us wanting to buy this combination.

The correct offset up front is +48 btw. And no, nobody has pictures of these yet because nobody has them (the rears were out of stock until very recently). If you purchase them, it's safe to say you'll be the first to have a set.

thanks for the catch... I changed the offset.

Yeah... I thought as much but I was still hopin.

I found a picture of similar offsets in the new hyperrev magazine but thought I'd throw it out there to see the actual thing before I bought it.

well, if I buy them this weekend I'll post up pics.

but still holding out hope... anyone have them?

The reason the 18's look concave in the rear is because they're 9+55's. The new 17" RS is also 9 +55 in the rear so I'm guessing (and hoping!) that they also go concave in the rear.

The fronts should look similar to the pictures above.

for a more exact answer you have to look at the SSR type C and the type C RS separately.

The type C is SSF all throughout and is lighter then their RS counterparts. The RS actually has a SSF face section but roll forged rim section making it suposedly stronger but a little heavier.

The RS listed on the tirerack in their respective widths list at 16.0 and 16.5 lbs respectively. Searching some unnofficial numbers online I believe the Type-C would be 2-3 lbs ligher in similar width sizing.
