I dislike the kit because it is so far from what I really like about the styling of the car. In stock form, the car has very clean, subtle, tasteful lines. The Veilside kit destroys the stock design that I like so much. Most other body kits do a much better job of "complementing" the lines of the car whether you like them or not. It seems to me that the Veilside kit has a complete disregard for the original design of the car. IMO.

No, I sold the S2000 . I wanted that pic to take to www.duderick.com to compare it to another member's yellow and black paint job.

Well i guess i hear where you're coming from ( i wouldn't put any kind of kit on the 04 S2000 maybe a lip other than that I love the car as is and IMO better lines and look than any aero kit ) but as for the 03's and so on i wouldn't mind putting a kit on that model it would be the veilside kit.

All you guys really crack me up. You really get excited by seeing lots of carbon fiber, or the same stock look over and over and over again with a small variation on the front lip or wheels. I got tired of looking everywhere and seeing the same car. That's why I painted it the way I did.

Thankfully, I don't worry about what a bunch of s2ki.com boardmembers think of my car anymore. I may have in the past, and that was my mistake. I'm happy with my car, always get compliments from people on it, and never hear anyone say anything bad about it to me. I had fun when it was turbo charged, and I won trophies for the shows that I entered. Then I burned out on the whole import scene. Everyone here likes to talk crap about everyone else's cars. To me most owners on here are not different from the guy that mods his civics, you just start out with a nicer car, and spend more money to mod it the exact same way. The same attitude is there.

I'm glad I got out of the car scene. I'm happy with my bike and the culture/sportbike community is more of a family than you guys will ever be. I doubt I could count on anyone on these boards to help me out if I needed it, but there are at least 10 people that I've never met in person that would come pick my bike up if I ever dropped it. Ya'll could learn a thing or two from sport bike riders.

I still keep my S2000 for rainy days but I hate the fact that I'm thought of as snobby or stuck up just because of the way some other owners act. That's what gives a bad rep to those of us who drive "nice cars". I'm finished with my rant. Post up your replies, I'd be happy to read them.

Man, Idon't think you should take it that seriously, but anyway you should drive what ever you like to drive and you customize your ride for you and for nobody else so don't mind them, because everyone will criticize always no matter what, because everyone has the right to do without being disrespectful of couse. And man If I could help you in anyway believe me I will so don't generalize....
