just out of curiosity, in the magazine they stated the car was running on 19x8, 19x9; which I didn't believed and called Guy at HRE who said the car was actually running on 19x8.5, 19x10.5 235/40, 275/35 which was an extreme fitment( i'm quoting him) so the fenders had to be rolled off.

Now that you own the car and are member of this awesome site what's the truth about it ?, and how is the performance of the whole wheels/tires package?

I have a spa yellow and want to go with 19" HRE's but need references.

Thanks
teknic,

The wheel size is 19X8.5, 19X10, but the tire size now is 245/35 and 285/30. The rear fenders are rolled but it still rubs. but that's because the car is dropped. If you're not going to drop the car that low, then you shouldn't have rubbing issue. If you are planning on dropping the car more than 1.5 inches in the back, then I hope you live in a city where all streets are smooth.
Performance wise, the car feels like it has tremendous grip. But then again, I've never driven a stock S2K so I wouldn't really know the difference. But I never EVER do any burn-outs, I probably can't anyways. As far as the car goes, I've had no problems so far except for the cracked SC bracket that I had replaced and a clicking rear

What does roll the fenders out mean? I'm not familiar with the term. What about acceleration of the car? How does it feel?

Anyway, one of the hottest s2k outhere in my opinion.

Enjoy it!!!!!!!!

rolling the fenders out literally means just that!
you roll your fends out more so they cover the tire to prevent it from sticking out like it does in AHHVTECS car!
(you basically get a body shop to lift up your fenders a bit, pull them out so they go over a wider tire/rim)
i.e. a porshe has REALLY wide rear fenders... so you can fit really wide rims/tires there!
does that make more sense?

Rolling the fender is when they roll(more like bend) the inner fender wall right along the edge of the wheel well. It's suppose to prevent rubbing, but in this case the rear tires are too wide. It even rubs on the inner wheel walls. Acceleration is pretty impressive, but still could be improved upon by running a smaller pulley on the SC. But I have can't compare with a stock S2K because I've never driven one hard.

Thanks for the comments!!
