Glad it fits. A friend who had a FD w/ LS1 measured mine and said it would fit. Looks like he as right.

His car was a beast. Just seeing the car and hearing it played tricks on your mind.

i think why some bash is because they know next to nothing about the LS motors.

they weight hardly more then our "little" F20's.

310-320rwhp STOCK.

heads/A CAM......420-460rwhp.

H/C/LT's/Tune....500+whp all day.......NA.

so you could have a 50/50 balanced car with 500whp that damn near honda relaible the the car would be a mere 56lbs heavier. oh, and you dont have to mess of the structural integrity of the car to make it fit either.

is a FAR, FAR better swap than the 2JZ.

i wouldnt do it, cause i enjoy the "soul" of the s2k and to me that soul is the F20/22. its what makes an S2000 and S2000. its loud, you have to rev it to high hell to it moving. it sticks to the road like its on rails, its perfect.

now you bet you balls i put one in a FC/FD. i have the rotory junk out before it got cold!

Nah man, the pertinent question is "why not?"

If an LS1 fits, then surely the LS7 will fit too, right? Awesome.

What is being done for engine management?

Holy shit - you actually did it. Impressed.

You're going to need video, pictures, cost information, etc. You are going to get a LOT of questions and a LOT of attention. Some of it will be bad, but who gives a shit. The car is going to haul ass and judging by the motor placement, handling should remain good.

Wow I tip my hat to you fine sir . I've ridden in a Ford Focus with a 5.0L crate motor. Now I really gotta get a ride in this. When are you coming to Hawaii?

But why? It is called 340 ft-lbs of torque and throttle response no turbo f20/22 could ever match. If you track this car...it will be an aboslute BEAST. Kudos man.

This is a swap I have always wanted to see done. I'm glad somebody had the balls to do it. Now, if only the LS7 would come down in price. I wanna see that dry-sumped 505hp monstrousity in an S2000.
