I agree what's needed is needed, but his car is not in need of a BBK. Other than looks, which is the reason you suggested, which for a true performance fan, looks are not the reason for upgrading something. Out the box, the S2000 has enough performance to out last 99% of it's buyers, so going deep into the Engine/Brakes/Suspenson moding seems idiotic to me. J's dude simply added more aerodynamic stability/more rubber and a slightly lower stance (although probably with an inferior suspension than the OEM Showa Shocks) with the hopes of better performance and unfortunately a feature in an Import magazine.
