so the stock hoops are not enough roll over protection? is it regulation to have a roll bar like this.

Nice choice on first mod. I went down the same road as you.

Where does the lower harness bar sit in relation to the bulkhead? Is it absolutely necessary to remove bulkhead for access to the lower harness bar?

I have the welded diagonal and welded harness bar (higher placement). I'm at the point of adding seats shortly and getting harnesses. I'm wondering what I can do to keep the bulkhead for stock seatbelt use.

Looks good. I really want to pick up one of these in the near future. I didn't realize you had to cut quite as much of the interior panels as you did. I'd definitely want to keep the softtop shelf piece but I plan on ditching the factory roll hoops along with the center console/secret compartment.

If you notice, I chose to keep the rear shelf. It took some cutting and convincing but it worked

the requirement for roll bars for open top vehicles is spreading westward
