Pics of my S...
Here's some pics of my silverstone baby, it's only lowered right now.
Was wondering what kind of rims people can recommend for me. I do not want gunmetal or black rims, I want something that is a nice polished silver look, OEM size. Also what kind of exhaust system. I want to maintain a dual exhaust setup, but I don't want something that is super-loud at all. I want a nice deep rumble, a mean sound. Also want to put in a CAI. What kind do you guys recommend? I've looked into the aem, but wanted to see what else is out there before I decide.
I'm also working under a budget so I can't go crazy with my mods, I would say they should be affordable, none of that crazy imported from Japan shit, although that would be sweet, if I had the money
Also wondering what other mod ideas you guys can give me for my S, to give it a more aggressive look, and some affordable stuff I can do to make it faster than my current stock setup. And no a sc or turbo is not affordable right now

O.K. Here it goes:
WHEELS: Stay with OEM wheels. Put some Bridgestone S03's 205/55-16 & 245/45 16 tires on them. The best for dry and wet conditions. Volk Racing CE 28N's in 16" will fit . Super lightweight wheel. +48F & +49R offsets.
EXHAUST: Fujitsubo!!!! Not too loud and it won't wake your neighboors when you come home at night. Low rumble. Groupbuy is happening now for this exhaust.Go to Vendors.
CAI: Comptech CAI. Go to Superstreetonline.com Seach S2000.In the October 2003 issue dyno claims with just the Comptech CAI alone on a 2002 S2000 was +4hp & +4lb-ft. Look for yourself guys. Not a bad mod.
AGGRESSIVE LOOK: Get some Bilstien coilovers or Ground Control Adjustable Springs with Koni Shocks. Drop it 30mm.
After putting these mods on, take your car to some autox and track days events.Take some race driving classes at a local track.Get to know your car. Out of the box it's really quick. Learn how to drive competitvely will make you quicker and faster around the track or auto x course.( I hope you don't mean on the street. That can be DANGEROUS!)
This is just my humble opinion on the matter. Hope this helps...BillyBlast

better for the wet, but not for the dry
the OEM S02s are the best tires for dry handling
