I just recently finished the completion of "stage 1" of upgrading my car. Installed upgrades include the Comptech CAI, exhaust, and front strut brace, a Fujitsubo super ex header, and Voodoo shift knob. I LOVE all these things. Totally transformed the car. Now acts much more aggressively. Of all the things, I give the most credit to the Comptech intake. Though a royal pain in the ass to install (who designed this thing anyway?), the performance gains are fantastic. My butt dyno is off the charts. "Stage 2" will probably be an overhaul of the stock brake system. It's good, but could be a lot better!
The great thing about all these parts is the fact they all fit 100% perfect. No rubbing, vibrating, hanging, dangling, scraping, rubbing - nothing. I need to give some props to some people on this board for their world class service/pricing and overall devotion to the CAR, not the $$$!
1. Rick's Accessories (James namely) (the intake and knob)
2. Tech2Motorsports (Drew, had a nice chat with your mom on the phone )(exhaust)
3. Tim from MP Tuning (JDM sidemarkers)
4. Jeff the Hardtopguy (OEM front lip)
5. board member JustBlaze (front STB and a helluva nice guy to boot! )
6. board member and former owner Christy (header - what a deal, how's the M3?)
That's about it; I just felt these people/businesses deserved some recognition for making my S that much better. I'm glad to be associated with you, and happy to have done business with all of you. Here are the pics (comments welcomed):
