Default PICS: Never liked this body kit until now

Heres some pics I found of the www.mbautosport.com Viper body kit for the s2000. I Like It. Maybe the front mount IC makes me biased.

For a Retail price of 695.00 for all four pieces I think its a great kit. However some of us pic the brand over looks

Looks very nice. But I think that the quality can't be too great a $795 for four pieces.

I agree it probably is made of poor materials and extremely delicate fiberglass however for the owners out there that don't have the thsnds to be throwing away on an ugly front bumper because it has a MUGEN badge on it this could be a good alternative and no one in the worl will know its cheap except for the enthusiasts such as us. I personally wouldnt buy this kit. I'd rather go with J's molded or the othe rMugen (not the SS) but like i said this could be a cheap alternative for a spur of the moment face lift.

Dammit, I think it looks pretty good, too. But if it's cheap, I don't want it! I like the design (front fascia) because it looks really compatible w/ a front splitter. I've been looking for a good front fascia that is compatible w/ a splitter. ANyone have any recommendations?

I wouldent buy a lip kit (front is a lip right?). Go get a good quiality replica kit (6-7 layers of fiber) for like 300-380$. The replica kits I've seen are pretty tough, they withstand quite a beating and if they to crack or snap, they are easy to fix. I had a customer who dident attach the back bumper properly on his cavelier and it flew off on the highway, it broke into 8 peices and he got it fixed at a local shop for 180$ CAD (115$ US) and it looks good as new.. The nice thing about buying a full kit instead of just a lip is that you can take off the kit for the winter really easy and if you happen to get in an accident, you just pop on your OEM bumper untill yours is repaired.
Think about it... if you hit something with either a polyurthane kit or a fiberglass one while driving.. damage is gonna be done.... I can buy 5 full kits, have them painted and still have money left for a carbon hood all for the same price of a mugen kit (4pcs)..

the point is .... chicks can't tell the difference, 99.7% of guys can't tell the difference... and unless you make a million a year.... you will be more happy spending 300-380$ on a 4pcs kit knowing that if you hit a curb, pilon, speedbump, animal, child, granny.. you will have plenty of cash left over to go buy a new kit or have the same one repaired... and in the meanwhile you will still have your OEM bumper to replace it...
