Just got the wheels and exhaust yesterday. (for an unheard of discount) The exhaust is a bit loud, but i like it. Anyways here it is....

don't like the Gram Light rims...offset doesn't look right and you need to drop the car asap

Loving the 05 GPW's. I also, am not a fan of the gram lights. I think you should powder coat them white or bronze. Nice car none the less.

but i would put the stock rims back on though just my taste........ keep up the good work...

Yeah I know the rims arent everyones taste but i do like them, any suggestions for a mild drop, nothing too crazy???? can someone explain why the offset doesnt look right on my car?

your gonna have problems on the rear and maybe the front. all depends on the drop but you genrally want to keep the rear above +50 on this car. dont mark my words but your gonna have problems on the rear and the front. then again it all depends on your drop.
im running +43 on the front and thats a 17x7.5 wheel with 17x8.5 +53 in the rear.
also what size tires are you running cause this will play a major factor too. hope this helps, but i do think you'll encounter several problems along the way

Tires are the stock ones. The suspension is stock for now, but I will want to drop it about an inch down the road. What kind of problems do you assume i will run into?


So should I sell these beasts and get something with the right offset?
