pinks are the sti lowering springs. do you have subs or anything in the trunk? i asked if you modified your suspension because i've seen some lowered sti's with their rears a little lower than their fronts. or is it because of the mammoth wing? 
so... howd you paint em? i'm getting the grey/silver combo and i think gunmetal would look pretty damn good on the car.

You remove the clear coat (find sand paper or finishing pads) and then clean with alcohol solution (avoid Parrot Bay
) and voila...not a whole lot to it.Silver w/gunmetal

You basically nailed it and I think you pretty much answered your own question. If I were to only have one car the STi would be the way to go.
STi: 6 months = 9,000 miles

S2000: 1 year 7 months = 9,200 miles....
R1: 2 months = 1,200 miles
