Default Pics of Stage 1 Big Brake Kit

Since so many of you have asked me, here they are. Pictures of my new big brake kit under both the factory wheel and my 18" SSR GT3's. For those of you that didnt believe me it will fit under the OEM wheel, here is proof

Details on the set up:
4 piston wilwood caliper
12.2 cross drilled and slotted zinc plated 2 piece rotors
Anodized hat and bracket
Street pads
Stainless steel lines
Aircraft quality hardware

Everything needed for quick exchange from factory set up.

BTW, forgot to add that you will lose 9 pounds of unsprung weight a wheel. Thats 18 pounds total

The factory S2000 brakes are actually quite remarkable. My goal in creating this kit was not so much to increase stopping power, but instead to offer more versatility and more fade resistance. It is only under severe use that the stock braking system begins to faulter and where this kit begins to shine. It is able to handle far more abuse and experience less fade. There are also other advantages as well. There are far more friction materials available for this caliper than there are for the factory. Almost every aftermarket brake pad company offers pads for this caliper for less than the cost of our factory S2000 pad!! Also, pads are easily changed with the removal of a single cotter pin. You dont even have to take the wheel off!!!!!!!! Pedal modulation has also increased. And above all, its 9 pounds lighter a side which greatly increases steering response. Cost of the kit is about 1,200 dollars which includes everything to convert the front over.

That looks great. But what can be done with the rear? It'll look damn ugly compared to that setup on the front.

If you notice, this is stage 1 there will be a few more variations coming soon which will include an upgraded rotor and pad for the rear. Soon after that, the super kit arrives. Without giving away all the details, the front will be a forged 6 piston radial mount set up while the rear will entail a 4 piston caliper much like the one on the car now.

Are you producing this kit or is it a fastbrakes kit? I talked to fastbrakes and they said they have a kit in production and the willwood calipers look like their work...
