Default PIX - Photoshop 'rendering' filters.... how did I do?!

I've been doing some first time 'experimenting' with Photoshop - in particular 'rendering' filters/effects with lens-flare, clouds and lighting!!

Pictures were taken from this thread - http://forums.s2ki.com/forums/showthread.p...threadid=155628

Please tell me what you think and/or suggestions.... of what I've achieved so far on my first go?!

try changing some of the colors in your rendering. since i have spa, i use yellow and orange often along with a blue or red highlight.

Good point.... how about this one then (even though the colours aren't meant to be 'real')?!

Photoshop is 'da bomb' and I've barely scratched the surface of its cababilities....

Here's a PhotoShop 'tip' I got from MyYellowHonda.... given his pictures ALWAYS look very crisp and vivid!!

Alter the Photoshop's 'Image Options - Quality' to 10+ , when 'save as' a new picture!

I compared 2 copies of the same photo and the difference is 'black & white'.... the version on the left is '5', while the same pic again on the right = '12' (sorry for the XL size, but it is necessary to demonstrate properly)!
