I dipped my wheels last night, and I am not sure if I like them or not...Maybe on a different color S. I think I may have too light of a coat? I did them in the sun on my driveway so there was plenty of light, but whenever I look at the wheels from certain angles they almost look gunmetal or silver then when I shade the light it appears black. Kind of a cool effect. Also, the texture seems a little grainy? I degreased and cleaned the wheels prior to spray, and noticed on one small part the texture seems to be a little thicker/smoother? Do I need to spray more coats? I thought I did about 4-5 coats but maybe it wasn't a full "coat"? BTW, this was my 1st time to spray anything...

Close ups...The 1st one shows the 2 different textures

Looks good in the pics...but of course it look different up close. I think you may need more coats, from what I have heard, lots of light coats is best.

IMO i think it looks great. That's exactly what I have on my Silverstone. One of my main reasons (which I may have already mentioned) was to protect the rims from excessive amounts of brake dust when I am racing this summer.
