Cool "please don't hit the wall"!

Hope this is not a re-post but this is a pretty damn funny video of a guy racing his new Audi R8 at VIR. He seems to lose it in a slight un-even transition, and well the in car sounds are hillarious!

Yikes! It seems like there are two guys in there, I'm guessing the driver wasn't the owner. I can't see why he would be so upset - you're racing your new 110K car at high speed, you have to be prepared for an off. And he hit tires with give, I doubt there was too much damage anyway. Is there an after vid or something to show the damage?

I didn't understand that either. If you are taking your 100+ car onto the racetrack, I am sure you have the money for a bit of body damage. No one likes to get in an accident, but his commentary was priceless, as I have been in the same situation.

that's the whole video with the aftermath. Doesn't look too bad at all. Just a few dings and dents in the side, need new mirror glass, and part of the left tail lamp cluster.

The thing is I don't think he was the owner. Unless Tim is himself, and this man is berating himself for having an off. There really was very little damage as evident from the second video.

ummmmmmmmmmmmmm............I don't know what you call minor damage, but that is pretty bad. The whole rear quarter panel is pushed in. That is not minor damage to me.
