sorry but

18s are just right for this car, any smaller and the tire looks to large for the car, any larger and the wheel looks to big for the car.

18's are too big IMHO. i rolled on 18 5zigens for about two months and sold them. the totally reverse the nature of the car, atleast to me. 17's seem to be optimal, and 16's are just fun due to their usual lightness. im on a OEM 16 kick right now. with spacers they are a really meaty looking 16 to me. i wouldnt mind some 17 ADVANS or some WHITE TE's.

Do whatever size you want. Since when does s2ki.com only promote 18" or nothing else. Dude as long as your not tracking with 19" you are fine. As for the "Tonka" comment to each their own. I say get 18" if you wanna jump on the bandwagon, but at least be different and notice the millions of Volks and other brands and stay away from the exact same models everyone else feels "safe" with.

P.S. Picture whoring again.

James

*shrug* I can't feel any noticable difference between 16 and 18 as far as rotational mass is concerned. I can feel a larger tire yeilding more grip on my 18s however

I think any wheel can look good; so long as the offsets, suspension, and tires all work together. I have seen some people who have 17's that look like crap, 16's that look like crap, 18's that look like crap, and 19's look like crap.
I agree though, s2ki.com tends to be conservative on this issue so don't expect most members to show any love for 19s. Would I rock 19s? If I liked the design- Hell yes.
