Yes on both sides of the law as well. I worked over the summer for an insurance fraud (among other others) company and you would be VERY surprised how many insurance claims are BS (more then 70% are that I've seen).
tsanhd: WHY not just bust the window.?
I believe that this is an insurance job. just not well thought through properly.
why isnt any of the windows broken?
it could look as insurance fraud, but they have plastic bag over the softtop. why? if there weren't any damage to the top?
i'm assuming the top was cut or something.
also since our cars have no window frame, wouldn't slimjim or that shit that locksmith or towing guys use to pop door work?
whatever it is, it's wrong......

im sure the top has a cut or some damange. and why would someone who supposedly "vandaled" someones car do so much damage to the body but wont even touch the windows? cuz if i were to mess up someones car my first approch would be the glass. as alot of other guys would do. BUT i wouldnt vandal someones car like that.
i assume someone got into the car with a key "owner". =] its been done fella's and yes i dont understand how someone can do this to a S.
