I think this has been tried before. I don't think it works.

well how about this, i'll show some more pics of the GTR and another car that is even much cooler and rare, both of which are located in asia because that is where i consider home. i'll most likely only be in the USA for another 3-5 years before i move back. if some of you guys come out to the track i'll show some pics everytime somebody does. going to the track isn't just all about being competitive or showing off or being fast. it's more about learning to drive your car, handling your car at certain speeds, and having some fun! i think everybody should at least try and give it a go. i honestly think you guys will love your cars more after you do this. i've been on the go-fast crack pipe since i was about 14-15 years old back in asia. i started off on shifter karts in macau, and eventually moved onto cars when i came to the united states. i know all of you are interested to see what your cars can do. but i think most of you are scared to probably ruin your car. well if you stay within your driving capabilities on the track it is actually much safer then driving your car on the road. i never once had an accident on the track. i've spun out many times on the shifter karts and once on my dc2 at the tracks. but it was due to me pushing the car over it's limit and i was well a bit greedy to go a bit faster. those are the only times when accidents most likely occur when people push beyond their limits and of course in races accidents occur because everybody wants to win. but on normal track days nobody is really trying to prove anything or win, unless you're a nut case trying to show off. it's relatively safe. if you're scared about the paint, get the clear coat film for the paint. i know a lot of people that do that to protect their paint. i personally don't care because as long as the car still drives, it's good to go. in the pics the DC2 may look really clean, but pictures cover a lot of the scars it sustained on the track. anyways... (hunterz) i hope i convinced some people to come out sometime in the near future.
i wanted to add something. it really doesn't matter how old you are either. you can be 16-65. as long as you can drive you can come to the tracks. my uncle races motorcycles and cars and he's in his mid 50's. so no excuses about saying oh i have family to tend to or i'm too old or been their done that sorta thing. hahaha that's ridiculous because if my uncle can still "race" i don't see how none of you can't come out for just track days as it's not a race. it's driving in a controlled environment.
i guess i'm trying to get more people who modify cars to come out and use their cars. it's like that in asia. everybody who mods there cars goes to the tracks too! all of them are passionate about moding their cars and going out to the tracks for some good old fun!
also, speedventures seems to be very anti-jdm
so i for me to not feel alone i would like some jdm folks to come out...
at least s2000's jdm cars. because a lot of jdm cars goto other events in nasa, tcra, and other organizations that i know of. all who have got hooked on the go-fast crack pipe and eventually started racing...
i don't believe in jdm or non-jdm. but i was brought up in asia so i'm more jdm influenced. but whatever parts works for me. if it doesn't just switch and try something else.
edit: AJ RACING is a good example of people modifying their cars and still going to the track. but well, those guys are from my parts of home town. i think that's why they do that. we were brought up that way. let's get some more US people into the scene. racing should be bigger then drifting or shows. it's like that in asia, racing is #1 creme of the crop for cars. but for some reason drifting and shows are bigger then racing in the USA and drifting has only been organized for a couple years. let's make racing cars as big as drifting and shows. then i think more JDM tuners will come here and actually support our cars when in time people do start participate in racing series. we need more techinical help out here. japan and asia has all the help. there's really little to no help here except for trial and error and the couple people who actually goto the tracks with their s2000.

Some of the race cars have Mugen hardtops too and niffty Recaro seats(I think Nobody still has Tein RS on his car as well). I think its the things like the flashy brakes you don't need and the crushco cages that are looked down upon.
here's one more pic to tease u guys with...
me driving the blue R34 following another blue R34 in hong kong traffic. i'm going about 0 miles an hour because of traffic. only place you can play with this car is at zhu hai international circuit or the canyons in hong kong.

edit... and another pic of the computer which can monitor everything on the car...

edit... oh no what is this? a very fast german car... GT3... while i was parking somewhere in hong kong...

let's see some more S2000 at the tracks now!
