I will say that after installing and driving... If you want a loud exhaust, you still have no clue what LOUD is until you hear the R1000 ... It literally puts motorcycle exhaust to shame...

Which I LOVE!!!

By the way I need earplugs now..

So how loud is that? Will it be much louder than Spoon header w/J's exhaust? I am considering R1 Titan single so I won't have to worry about CEL. Aare you not getting CEL? I also have Spoon ECU but not installed as I don't have good gas here in CA.

if you're running the stock ECU you will get a MIL code for cat inefficiency. The detection method is such that it doesn't trigger it on just a single driving cycle. Wait until you go for a 40 minute cruise on the highway...

Giore listen to what ellisnc said, I believe the 02 sensor will go bad eventually due to all the pollutants of not having a cat. So you'll get the light eventually.

damn the pics are taking forever to load, but congrats on the awesome exhaust system. i think the r1000 is too extreme for me so ill be getting the dual r1 titan, much more tolerable(but i do love loud exhausts).

i have the j's exhaust with many engine upgrades. no cats. still stock headers though. and it is loud as hell. plan and simple. it sounds just like he is describing the r1000. i am very happy with the j's. i've never run it on the stock engine so i don't know what it sounds like then. by the way my engine mods are not listed just incase your looking at the sig and saying what is making so much noise?

Yep.. I got the CEL.. Then on the way home the silencer bolts wiggled themselves loose and my silencer shot out the back like a cannon.. LUCKLY there were no cars behind me.. BUT now i gotta go get new bolts...

Ive heard the J's once. and from what i remember it just had an intake. There was no comparison in sound the R1000 is louder..

HOWEVER, if you have an intake, header, and straight pipe it wouldnt suprise me if your right up there with me.. But wait till i get the header.. Then we will have to find a way to meet up and compare..
