great pics-
i like it enough to have a deposit on one!!
deposit was put down about 6 mos ago and if i am really lucky i might have one in about a year- they have had delays in production...
the "side blade" is the air intake cover (the engine is under the rear window and an option is lighting for the engine at night!!)... the side blade concept is design- audi thinks it looks good with the diff color blade, but you can order it in several diff colors and also in carbon fiber.

btw- nice video of jay leno taking it for a spin:

just realized that this is the same car that my dealer showed me about a month ago (you can see the air intakes on the side in the photo below):

have a $1k refundable deposit since they dont know the pricing yet...
once they can take actual orders (where i will have to spec the car- all details, color, options, etc.) the deposit will go up to around $10k and become non-refundable.

they have guessed that i would get the car loaded (i want the manual 6 speed, not the lambo paddles) for around $125k. saving every penny i can squeeze- but i probably have a year or so to go!!

(i am #13 on my dealer's list- he thinks that i will get a first year car, but that does assume that a couple of guys ahead of me end up dropping out)-

i originally got on the list hoping to be one of the first to get the convertible version... but have to admit that after i saw the hard top i was in love- if i am close to the release of the convert, i will have to make a choice then. my guess is that the convert will not really be available for at least another year and a half or so. prob about the same time as the v10 diesel is released. side note- that car will be detuned so that it does not compete with the much more expensive lambos.

the car has already been delayed (i was to get it end of the year) by problems such as the new factory (they are building a separate factory for this car... my recollection is that honda did that for the s2000 too).
That's awesome

good luck, and keep us posted

btw, go with the coupe
