The closest thing I'll ever have to racing stripes is if bird crap lands on the front of my car, then smears it's way up the hood at speed.

 

even that'll look better than real racing stripes, atleast that was an accident.

 

Whew, I'm glad nobody has posted up S2K's with racing stripes....

 

I'm sure I've seen some on this forum before though.

 

I've seen a few pics of S' that had owners thinking they bought an American muscle car.

Racing stripes have more of an American/British heritage to them. I've seen quite a few Miatas with racing stripes. Some I liked. Some I didn't. They've gotta be the right color. They should be noticable, but subtle. For a white car, I like silver stripes. Given the S2000 has very defined sharp lines in the hood area, I'm not sure how good it's going to look. Miatas are a bit more curvy and round.
