woow so much hate.
big props. keep up the good work.
Good work...?

He just bought crazy wide wheels and stretched some tires over them, then cambered the f@#k out of everything to make them fit.

These kind of threads make me think a 10 year old with zero knowledge of wheel fitment just picks out a set they think looks cool, and slap them on, with no measuring.

That's a common misconception. People like you (I'm assuming) measure to see if a wheel will fit with a certain alignment, and no fender modification, for the sole purpose of functionality. People like him measure to see if a wheel will fit with a fender roll and pull, a certain sized tire, and at a certain camber spec. There's no less knowledge and math involved with the "hellaflush" setups than there is with functional setups. Usually it takes a greater amount of planning and calculating because setups like this play with millimeters of clearance. It's just a bit ignorant to claim that there's no knowledge involved here just because you don't like it.

I'm just saying that I've never been impressed with that look and lack of fitment. Sure, I guess there's some "pro" mexiflushers out there that want a certain look. But to ME, with MY eyes, it looks like they just saw some wheels on a rack at Les Schwab, and said, "f@#k it, i don't care if it doesn't fit, they're going on my car!"

Then proceed to make their setup look like a prolapsed a**hole by stretching 135/xx/xx tires onto a 10 inch rim.

But whatever, i don't like it. but many others do. just stating my opinion. to each their own.

You're right, it might actually take more planning and calculating... along with a lack of common sense and maturity.

I hope in 2-3 years, many of these same "hellaflush" S2Ks show back up in the photo gallery with proper fitting wheels/tires. Maybe the owners will grow out of it, or maybe there will be new owners.

You guys better watch it. Common sense and tires that fit are looked down upon here. Better go with the flow, or people will all call you a hater.

Sadly, I may be being sarcastic but it's all true.

Not calling anyone a hater. Its a certain look only people who do things like this to there car would understand. I have done it to my past 2 cars and plan to continue. The wheels were installed all summer but the front were only 1 inch lips vs the 2.5 lip hence the "mexipoke". Huge plans coming, and I plan on dialing everything up and getting things flush if not very close. The wheels are 3 pieces and I have selection of 3 different size lips so anything is really possible and I bought all the pieces separately and choose to be wide. This was only a test fit, I didn't actually run this setup so things aren't exactly how I would run them. Also no extra camber other than what happens when you lower a car.

Couldn't agree more. It looks horrible.
