Are those cracks that I'm seeing in the housing???

Anyway ... I always wondering, other than launching the car like a mofo ... is it possible to rip the diff apart like that from just driving the car really aggressively? (but not abusing it)

The diff really looks like it went through some blender of some sort ... the metal chunks were scary man

No, those are casting marks...

I have finished up the rear for Keith and sent it back along with pics of the rebuild job.

Thanks everyone! Just to be clear, I didn't do the hard work... I took everything out, started to get ready for the rebuild but I couldn't finish it off (due to the stretched outer race and Ben (S2KPUDDYDAD) did the repair and rebuild for me. I did learn a lot from the whole experience thought. I got the diff back in yesterday and I hope to install it soon.

I highly recommend Ben for anybody looking to rebuild their differential! Thanks Ben!
