Recently Finished Garage for S2000
Hi all,
I just finished a months-long effort to make my S2000's home nicer, starting with a new garage door and opener and ending with a new work bench. I wish I had "before pics" because before I started, parts of the drywall actually had pulled away from the wall studs and garage door was literally rotten. So, I'm quite proud that it looks much better. I think that I have it pretty close to the way I'd like it, but I'd love to see where others park their S2000s, because I probably could pick up more ideas.

Thanks for the compliments all!
I figured someone might point out that it's too clean. I can't say I disagree!
I did plan a little ahead last summer and got a round of maintenance out of the way with new fluids (for engine, clutch, brakes, differential, transmission, radiator), valve adjustment, and some other little things before starting in earnest on the garage late last fall. At that time, I also thought about selling my S, but I did not get any serious buyers until after I started the garage project, which made it difficult to show the car, etc. That probably was good fortune, because I'm really glad I didn't sell it.
After finishing, I've done some projects (like cutting materials to lay flooring in our attic), but I kept it clean long enough to take pictures for posterity. Our S2000s are stone cold reliable, so it probably will stay pretty clean until the next thing pops up on our house to fix. Ugh.
