i am considering a cf hood for my red s2k, but i have not seen any picture of it, can any one help? paint or non-painted, i dont really care

 

My friend has a cf hood on his red s2k. It looks nice.

 

unless you got something like the "J's Racing - Carbon Fiber Hood," i don't think it would be smart to paint a normal carbon fiber hood. our hood is already aluminum, so we have a lot of weight saving done. by getting a carbon fiber hood, and painting it, you would be paying a lot to save very little weight (from what i understand). i suggest keeping it unpainted, 'cause you'll save more weight. that's just from what i know...i hope i helped.

 

Do a search, I have seen a red one with Amuse CF hood(pic), it looks good, but, for that kinda money... huh.... I will buy other things... so, J's is the hood I will only think about ..

Red looks nice with a CF hood. I've never seen a Red S2000 with a CF hood but I've seen many red imports with CF hoods and they look real good.

Thats not a J's hood, its Amuse. If you wanna save up for that hood, you better save up for a while!!!
