Do some research, Charlie, and you will find that the ASA's are the one of the best-bang-for-the-buck rims out there for the S2k. They are light, and I was able to lap in the 1:42's with 17" Khumo MX street tires at Gingerman.
I think 17" sized rims are ideal for the s2k in terms of handling, and the width and offset of the ASA's are exactly what I was looking for; ASA spec'd them specifically for us S2k owners. Don't believe me... call Tirerack for the real story. ASA uses the same wheel manufacturering technology as licensed by BBS.
And look closely at my plates on the P-car, Charlie. I have Illinois Police Memorial plates on my P-car, which I photoshoped in some of the pix so that the actual plate number isn't showing. I was messing around with photoshop's features at the time, as I was still learning to use it.
Bro, I know you didn't mean any harm, but c'mon, let's be educated about a subject before calling someone a "liar" as you'd implied with your post. Much smaller F1 4-cyl engines were put'n out well in excess of 1000 HP ages before my 1.9L built motor was securing ~450 crank HP.
And just because I've owned the cars that I do, it does not mean that I have to get the most expensive part on the market... I tend to lean towards the "best-bang-for-the-buck" product, if you know what I mean.
Peace, and Happy New Year's...

trbomx5,
Since my S is a garage queen and the winters in Seattle SUCK, I decided to add an AWD coupe to the garage. Great choice in color!
I'll post better pics when the weather improves.
Enjoy,
