I don't approve of people that do this kind of bull^&#t for a living, but then again who am I to say what people should be doing. I just don't know what the joy in owning a car like that comes from knowing you have a fake of something a company has been perfecting for years.

I don't see why people get so ruffled up by the idea of replicas. So what if some dude can turn the same heads and spend half the money. Are you that insecure that you get upset when the guy next to you gets the same complements as you, but you paid 2 or 3 times as much money?

Who the hell cares?

If you wanna buy the real thing, all the power to you. If you want the same look, but on a budget, all the power to YOU too.

There's always a market big enough to keep the real thing in business. Don't use the argument that the original guys loose business because of replicas. Those who can't afford the real thing weren't in the market for the original to begin with.

And that goes with everything -Extreme Sports Cars, Rotas, Seibon...whatever.

 

I read their websites. It says you'll need a Toyota mr2 SW20 or 22 for the base car. Awesome time to look for a cheap mr2 and do this project =)
