I would like to see a pic of this or similar to help me make up my mind

Looking at getting some Varrosten Rims
Specs are 17" 9 upfront 9.5 in rear and the offset is +30
Im lowered on springs only (1") stock struts

Im thinking due to width and offset I will need to modify the fenders, right?

 

correct. depends on what tire sizes u run. if its like 245/255 u will need fender mods. unless u want to run crazy camber and stretched tires. i have 17x9.5 +35 with 255 all around and it sticks out a lot

 

Have any pics?
Would rear flares cover them?

 

yeah rear flares should be enough since its +25mm but u have to cut the rear panel for the clearance

 

So u had to do that too?

 

Check on my sig picture below. 17x9 +35 and 17x9.5 +35 with 5mm spacers on all corners. That makes in the same size you are looking for. I have 255/40/17 up front and 275/40/17 in the rear.
