The only difference is JDM seats are leather look vinyl with cloth centers as standard.
The full leather is an option, AFAIK from the numerous JDM cars we have over here the JDM leather is no different.
Though I have noticed big differences between the seats in the 4 S's I've had (all EUDM)
I see. Perhaps that has to do with the humidity in Asia then. Cuz the leather never feels dry on my current S, whereas the leather feels like it's about to crack when I don't condition it frequently in the US.

Maybe that's why Honda never found it a problem with the leather when they first designed and tested the car ... until they started selling and shipping them across to other places that are less humid.

I've never understood the point of buying a right hand drive car in America when they make perfectly good left hand drive cars. It looks good don't get me wrong, but whats the point? So you can "look cool" driving on the opposite side?
Precisely. Then the cops can pull you over to check the car out and waste time out of your day, and random people will ask you how you got a car like that and make you feel real special.. At least that's how it was driving around in a RHD Integra for a while
