Whether its rice or nice I think depends upon the color. For stock brakes, since the calipers are on the smaller side I think that sublte colors like black or silver look good and give it a clean look. Other brighter colors tend to stick out too much IMO, and don't really work unless you have a BBK imo.

sorry, never been a fan of painted calipers in any color
Not even black? I think that the stock caliper looks dirty all the time and kind of unfinished. I like black, everything else looks like a fake BBK wanabe.

I won't call it rice, but I don't personally like the color chosen.
+1. And red or Spoon blue would have looked better

I think it also depends on what rims you have mounted.

Stock rims, any color aside from black or silver looks pretty bad but aftermarket rims can get away with a lot more pronounced colors.

you know what looks like brembo?

brembos.

i miss my brembos on the evo...

$2500 just for the front does put a dent in the wallet.

stopping power is pretty good on the stock oem brakes on the s2k though, I was suprised.

s2k 116ft vs evo's 111ft.

I would go black, cant go wrong with black, and if you want a little bling, go with a high gloss black, just make sure its high temp and you finish it with a sealer to avoid chipping as much as possible. The glossy paints tend to chip easier

make sure you don't spill too much brake fluid on it.
