Thanx (or not ). The reason it is red because we have a high preformance boat (race boat) that has red, black, and yellow graphics, and everyone on the lake wants to buy it. We got the pipes because it reminded me of a vintage hot rod ( ). They weren't exspensive at all so we didn't waste any money, and we wont be interested in a exhaust system until we can find one that can get rid of the ricy 2 liter sound. The tips do this a little, but you have to pull them out really far to get a noticable sound diff. The wholle reason we got new pipes was because we pulled the stock ones out from underneath the car about 1/4 inch, and it looked more ricy than it does now. I hope this answers your questions.
