RIGHT HAND DRIVE IN USA ?
You would have to get the car federalized, have EPA check it, and possibly have to crash test it.
it is cheaper and easier to buy a clip from japan.
pay a body shop 1500 or so to weld in the RHD firewall.
and then you can put it all back together.

If you mean you can buy one new. The answer is no! If you mean can you buy one used. Probably not but if there is one, it'll be hard to find, and I'd have no reason why there would be one here to begin with. Since it'd have to be a non-street legal vehicle.

The first question has to be why? You can buy them here, why import one? If you're after a certain color configuration it's cheaper to paint a car than ship it. If you're after the `04 body with the 2L engine, you can get a swap done pretty easily. If you just want to be different with a RHD car on US soil, that's dumb.
However, I don't see what the big fuss is all about. I see RHD cars here all the time. And I don't see why there would be a big stink about emmisions or crash testing since the exact same car is sold here, with opposite drive side. It's not like this is an exclusive car that has never been crash tested before.
You guys are over reacting.

but the definition of similar would need to be more clearly defined. Since the engine is different, similar might be interpreted differently. Either way it makes no sense to do it.
