Wow, nice work man . Gotta tackle my ap2v1's too here shortly, just picked up a set to replace my Works a few days ago and one is gashed up pretty good. So thanks for all of the information on what you used...

If you don't have a die grinder you can use a corded/cordless drill you just won't have the same amount of control and doing any work on the inside of the wheel around the spokes may be tough.

The rim bead area is real thick so you can take out the big stuff, I had a few and had to blend it in to un-damaged area to make it less noticeable, if the gashed area was say a 1/2" I probably blended 3/4 to 1" on either side of it.

Going out to clean up the car then get the wheels rebalanced... Check back mid-afternoon!
