Default Rode in the 2006 M5 on PDI

We (Checkered Flag BMW) received our first 06 M5 yesterday, and I snapped a few pictures of it while it was being PDI'd. I also went for a ride on the PDI test drive. Unfortunately it was raining, and the car was sold, so we both didn't want to push it. It is an awesome ride - along the feel of the ZCP M3, but with a tad more refinement. It feels more sporty than the older M5's - more comparable to the M3......but this is from me in the passenger seat. The bolsters move when you turn to keep you securely planted dead center in the seat - takes a little getting used to but very cool.

The new owner of the car took delivery last night, and is a family friend (probably wouldn't recognize who I am from my screen name though), he is also a very lucky man! But he already knew that

This car deserves much better photos, and I was rushing around it snapping away - this isn't my best work :embarrassed:

I love the Power button - right next to DSC off

$90,070 MSRP.

The heads-up display is awesome....sorry about the glare. I was in such a rush to take pictures I forgot to take the polarizer off the camera.

wow....just....wow. $90 grand though.... I can't say I'd spend $90gs on that car. It's hot though. I guess I'm too much of a red neck. I'd rather have 20 hondas and a garage.

under additional charges it says "gas guzzler"....whats that? I always used that as a term for a car that gets crappy mileage....I wouldn't charge someone an extra 3,700 for bad gas mileage so I'm assuming its no tthat.
