Default RSG Gears lip / Wasp Composites / J's / RFP1 / N+ new goodies

Had a spa yellow ap1 years ago and made the biggest mistake of selling it.

Went on the hunt and found this 01 with only 43k on the clock a few months ago. Said I was going to leave it "stock" but that didn't last long lol.

New goodies installed the last couple weeks:

- RFP1 17x9
- 245 Star Specs
- Buddy Club N+
- Wasp Composites lip protector
- Wasp Composites side diffusers
- RSG Gears front lip
- Forbidden J's carbon fiber rear diffuser
- Invidia Q300 exhaust

Many thanks to a couple buddies of mine for helping out...

Daniel at Full Effect Collision in Soddy Daisy, TN

George at Custom Concept Motorsports in Soddy Daisy, TN

Awesome prices on parts, labor etc and has an in-house dyno too. Check out his website at www.CustomConceptMotorsports.com

February 2015 update:

Had my buddy at Custom Concept Motorsports order me an Invidia Q300 exhaust. It finally came in, long overdue as it's been on backorder for a couple months. So we got to work...

Exhaust thrown on before putting the diffuser back on.

Diffuser thrown back on. I'm loving how it all turned out as a package. Was hesitant on the blue tips but I think it pops now.

One of my buds has a Mugen style hard top so we threw it on mine last night to see what she looks like...

Yup, I think I need one in my life lol.

Looks very clean. How's the fitment of the gears lip? Oem hardtop would finish it up perfect.

Thank you thank you, that's the look I was going for. Something clean as the s2k has gorgeous lines as it is. I'm happy with the fitment. My buddy that did the paintwork etc didn't have to do any work to it. Personally I'm just not an oem hardtop fan, reminds me of a Miata as much as I hate to out those 2 words together lol.

Thanks man. Ahh hell, that's cool. Haven't seen you around but I'll keep my eyes open. I usually only ever see the boosted white ap1 rolling around as far as white ones go. If you're into playing in the twisties etc you'll have to come join in on a run sometime. We don't do anything crazy, just meet up and have a lil fun. Have a few other s2k buds in town, you know anyone else?

I was worried about that at first but thankfully no issues with the side diffusers and the side strakes.

Looks good. Always wished the diffusers were a little longer, so there's no overhang at the end.

Thanks man. Mine too! So glad now I couldn't find an oem lip which in return made me stumble across this one. I love it and looks 1,000 times better than I thought it would from the pics online.

Thank you thank you. I hear ya. So far I think it's only us that would nitpick it though haha.

Thank you.

It's PU. Not sure if they still offer both versions like originally when they started producing them. Would've loved to snatched it up in CF but can't see spending the $ then having it painted as I'm not a big fan of CF lips unpainted on SSM. Some colors can pull it off though.
