but what really takes the cake, that I honestly don't expect most people here to grasp, is the car's undeniable character.
Mike is the only one who can successfully capture that car's character in photos, if that's not apparent by the build thread.

Not every car is for everybody, but we can all appreciate the time, dedication and pure love that he has toward his car.
I really love seeing a car represnt the owner, seeing the owners personality in the build. And while I won't be rusting and rewelding top hats on my S2, I can still appreciate this build for its follow through of the owners personality.

Shoulda quit while he was ahead. That chopped top looks lame, it's the roof equivalent of a slammed suspension. Apparently subtlety is not a part of the dude's lexicon.
