I took these pics over the weekend at the Texas World Speedway Driver's Edge event. One of our Houstooks, RudyW, had the pleasure of running with a new 350Z in the red run group.
I had the oppertunity to test drive one about a week ago. It's a neat car and I was really hopping it would be alot more of a sports car then it was. It felt like a Sport sedan to drive. In just the minor tooting around i managed to get it to understeer on several occasions. The power was impressive but only up to 4K. Then it felt as if It was dying off very quickly. By the time you got to 6000 rpm I swore it had stopped pulling at all. It reminded me of Driving a very very smooth american V-8. I'm a tad on the short side (5"10) and I had a bit of trouble getting the drivers seat in a position where I felt comfortable with the view. I just felt way to low. but when I looked up I only had another 1 or so till the roof. Just enough space for a helment. I was really hoping for something alot more sporty. And to be honest I think the S2000 has more trunk space.
