The SMG is a cool system, but I can't stand paddles. I've driven an SMG M3, and it was the most awkward thing.

I never used the paddles back when I owned it ... the shifter works just fine (although its not as fun since its just up and down) .. but the time it takes to change gears in S6 I will tell you is crazy ... and the rev matching sound when you down shift is intoxicating in the tunnels ...

OP what year is your M3? I hope you will extend that warranty (if you keep it) otherwise if the SMG fails you are in deep shat ...

Bad time to sell .... great time to buy though.
