Thumbs down S2000 CR pictures

I went to Mid Ohio today for the ALMS and caught a glimpse of the S2000 CR from a distance.

Honda brought out their S2000 CRs at Mid Ohio Sports Car course today. The honda rep that I spoke with said these cars were going to be later driven by jounalist and no one was allowed any closer. So this is all I could take a picture of.

any other color except smurfblue looks good. performance at the track even better i bet and what they were advertising from the very beginning. same noise when ap2 came out, now watch everyone want the cr. weight trimming, tweaked suspension for street/track, and tame kit that looks pretty decent compared to most over the top kits available. i bet those wheels weigh less than ap2 v1 and v2 as well. if i was in the market for s2k i'd get it.

From the distance that I was able to view the car, the blue looked a lot darked than the smurf blue that I've seen in the reports on the CR. The CR looks aggressive and just knowing that it's the S2000 CR delivered sort of a celebrity presense when seeing it in person for the first time. I really wanted to get closer but no luck. Got around back and snapped what I could to get a glimpse of the roll hoops underneath the hardtop.

the blue's my choice...then yellow...then black!! doesn't looks half bad anymore!! but the rims could be different.

I bet you're the only one in the world to take them in that order. In fact I'd be willing to wager a large sum of money that the Berlinas (or whatever they call this black) will be more than 90% of sales.

I like it in black, I cant really justify buying a new car after totally re-building my motor and essentially starting off with 0 miles on my car. I think I will just get a hardtop and coilovers and just be content with my "base model" lol.
