After seeing the video the front Lip didn't look as gnarly as I thought it did in some of the pictures.
Its a shame they couldn't produce the reduced lift they were looking for without the big rear wing. On a track, it probably really does show improvement.
I'm thinking that usually OEM mods have a lot of research and development and could possibly be great track items or have a good resale value within the S2k community. With Miatas the revised suspension bits from the Miata R-Package cars can still be found circulating new owners in for-sale forums.
From a lot of S2Ki's responses to the CR its clear that it doesn't look spectacular to the tuner market, nor is it a Type-R, but it is being marketed as a bit of a specialist car meant for the racetrack, so the wing really is justifiable.
Nobody has driven it yet either so its hard to say how big the performance improvement really is, but hopefully the car drives better than it looks.
