S2000 drive from eye level
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZKEtPP1WbUg
I shared this in my other thread but I wanted to see if people would be interested in more videos like this, it is a bit awkward to film as I have to remove my cyborg eye to switch on the camera.
Enjoy a nice cruise down and around the hill.

Helmet cam views aren't new but it's definitely diferent for car vidoes. I like the prespective and the driver feedback feel.
I would try not to make any abrupt glances left or right next time and if you do, just cut it out. Gradual head turning and leaning is good.
Combo it with some fixed mounts and make a new edit with music!

(Even though I can cook up a mean edit)The thing I like most is the actual feeling of weight transfer you can get that fixed mounts completely remove. I think certain people can only handle a short amount of eye view though.
For anyone trying to replicate this, you are in for a rude awakening trying to get a view similar to this and should be prepared to drive with a bit of distraction hehehe.
Yeah it is tough to not move your head instinctively. Really more of a test than anything, but I am all about the raw footage when it comes to driving, I only aim to please other drivers

I think I have to keep that to myself to keep people from trying to replicate this, haha. For me as a driver it was perfectly safe but the best way to describe it is probably nose/mouth level view rather than eye level.
Think Bain from Batman but with a camera attached, hahaha. And then think about people's reaction as I drive by.

Or you can just buy the sunglasses with the built in 1080p camera built into them. Cant even tell they are a camera.

I still like it though. I can see using the footage as picture in picture for a montage style video.
