Hah, would've spent my money otherwise.

Sortof seems like the ad selling it doesn't even know the car... a bunch of crap pictures and comments about the audio equipment and body kit... then some mag features with turbo pictures, and some stock engine pictures...

The ad isn't very inspiring, nor is the car itself.

It's okay. The car was built during the time the Fast and Furious movie came out. Peeps thought this was cool so someone decided to cash in on tasteless spectators.

If I could win big prizes by taking my passenger side airbag out and replacing it with boost gauges I can't even see clearly from the driver's side, then coun't me in!

 

i dont get why people say yuck when half of s2ki s2k look like that yet nobody says yuck when they post their cars up.

 

that seems a bit steep...i believe retail is somewhere between 6 and 7g's...sounds fishy to me...however i have seen that in the magazine...

To say its "yuck" or not, is personal preference. I personally would not like my car to look like this but there are a lot of s2k's on here that are done in and around this sort of fashion. Nor would I want a wide body on an S2000. I don't like them nor is it my taste. But that doesn't matter. You do to your car whatever you want to do. It's your money and your car, and I'll never sit here and tell you that you can't.

But seriously.....a $9000 Mugen hardtop? If anyone is interested, I'll sell you my Mugen top for that price.






Off topic: To clarify my taste in S2000's and what I like and don't (or...the yuck factor), off the top of my head, here are a couple of members that are my favorite S2K's....or inspirational cars if you will
