i'm curious does the red part of the tac flash in the AP1's or AP2's, like it does in this video.

i thought only the amber part flashed. in this car the amber part stayed on, and only the red bars (passed the 9000rpm) flashed.

I've tons of Best Motoring videos over the past decade but I was surprised that I don't have this one when I first came across it on "StreetFire.net" not long ago. I managed to record the "asf" stream using "WM Recorder 10" (registered version) and convert (using MS Windows Media Stream Editor) into wmv (15MB).

I've compared the partial lap to the NSX prototype video (back in 1990, also from "Best Motoring"). By the time the NSX hit Karussell at about 4m50s, the S2000 was trailing about 16 seconds. The NSX (same driver, no traffic at all) did a 8m16s15 from gate-to-gate (not sure if that's what you call it). Wonder if the prototype S2000 manage to come in under 9 minutes.

While we are at it, I'm not sure if this is a repost but quite a while ago I found this site that has tons of S2000 track videos. I downloaded all 3.5+GB of them in 1 nite.

Not sure if the guy(s) are on S2ki. Seems like the car has at least suspension, intake/exhaust and final drive (almost end of 6th gear at Monza!!!).
