It charges up on it's remote control (see picture) for about 1 minute then is able to run for about 3 minutes. Pretty cool about 30 bucks on ebay from our friends in Japan.

Controls are either on or off. It's like trying to play Gran Turismo with PSone joystick, except the buttons on the remote clicks.

Pretty fun to play with after setting up a small auto-x course on your desk with pencils and erasers.

My only gripe is that the remote range is kind of limited.
