S2000 + Redwood Trees
A little history lesson before you take a peek at my pics...
The redwood trees of the Northern California area are also known as Sequoia sempervirens. The Latin name was created by a botanist who affixed "semperviren" (meaning 'evergreen') to "Sequoia" (from Sequoyah- the great Cherokee intellectual). These magnificent beasts are nurtured by moist by Pacific Ocean storms during the winter months, and by coastal fogs in the summer months. Redwood trees can last as long as 2,000 years and grow to be larger than 350 feet tall. They are well known for their ability to create habitats for rare plants and animals. California redwood groves are all that remain from prehistoric periods when dinosaurs still roamed the earth. They are fire and decay resistant, and can regenerate without seed. In the last 60 million years their tenure has been threatened only by logging in modern times.
These trees are considered a "vulnerable" flora (not "endangered"), mostly due to climate change and extensive logging in earlier periods of California's history. Logging has greatly changed the ecological systems in coastal California regions, because the trees and their roots are effective in holding sediment in its place. Without the trees, watershed is saturated with sediment, preventing endangered fish from procreating and creating a mess of landslides and mud slides.
The twists and turns of the freshly paved roads which wind through the Santa Cruz Mountains are the historic trail of old time logging paths. The magnificent groves of ancient redwood trees still stand tall, thousands upon thousands of acres of them, mostly protected by law. The roads which weave through these groves are best enjoyed in a well balanced high revving machine, called the Honda s2000.

Absolutely correct, nice eyes!
Many of the body panels of my car have been repainted, some multiple times.
This car is a theft salvage.
Every time I consider a new repaint, I end up smashing into another critter on the road.
There's about a gallon of touch up paint on my car.
