Thanks...they're a lot nicer than I ever gave them credit for. I am positive that I will once again own an S2000 once I'm settled in with a better job. Hopefully by then, they'll be selling for even cheaper

Car looks Amazing in person paint is MINT.

All he needs now is some Gold TE37's or some Gold VSXX and he will be set.

Definately get yourself snow tires if your S sucked in the snow. G Coupes are a mess in the snow. I've worked at Infiniti here in Cincinnati for almost 7 years, that's the best advise I can give you. You can get out of the car with it in gear and not worry about it going anywhere, the wheels will just spin and spin and spin.

Anywho, they are good cars and you will hopefully enjoy it!

BTW, tires will get replaced every 15-22k and brakes every 35-45k (DO NOT REPLACE PADS/ROTORS with OEM Brembo, they will rape you. we charge $505 per rotor...that equates to about $1100 total for fronts and 950 or so for rears.

Good luck and enjoy, hope this didnt scare you

I like the G too. Good choice for a replacement!

I still wonder from time to time if I should look into a G, for the same reasons; space, torque, comfort, etc. Then on a nice day when I put the top down and have a nice run through the gearbox listening to some angelic VTEC notes, I remember why I fell in love with my S in the first place!

If I worked at an Infiniti dealership and saw the G35 every day since it came out, I wouldn't think much of it. But this is pretty new for me. The S2000 is by far a better weekend car, but in the winter it's the absolute worst car to have in my opinion. I'm cramped, the car feels slow, and I have no traction.
I trade in my 05' G35 for an 07 S2000. The G is a nice car but overall S2000 is too damn fun in every aspect. Of the car I had in the past, from RSX-S , 350z and G35, the S2000 I LOVE the most.

Now in terms of winter car, G35 would be better so I understand your situation.

I used to think like that...when I first bought the S2000 I swore I'd never sell it. But it got to the point where I really didn't even look forward to driving the car, and that is a good sign that it's time to part with it.

I looked into a 2007 S2000 actually, but I can't justify buying a car like that for so much money. No offense to any of you that have. It looks great, has a fantastic transmission, generally easy to work on and hell, it's a convertible. But the car needs a few things to be a DD or a good sunday car IMO. The lack of torque just really got to me after a while. And I'm not the first to say it...it just feels like it's going nowhere sometimes.

But after all my bitching, I will own one again...I just know it. There is something about the car that calls to a lot of people...I just will need another car to drive around every day.
